Build a Strong Faith While You're Young
Whether you’re sitting in the car wondering why school matters so much or thinking about everything you’ve been learning lately, I’m Pastor Justin—and I’m so glad you’re here!
For Parents
This episode opens Proverbs 22:6 and reframes a familiar parenting verse as a message for kids themselves. Pastor Justin tells children that their habits, heart, and faith are being built right now, and that they do not have to wait until they are older to follow Jesus. He uses a skateboard ramp to picture how a strong foundation holds up later. On the drive, ask your kids what they have learned about God that they want to carry with them as they grow.

Questions Kids Ask
Why should kids build their faith and good habits while they are young?
You do not have to wait until you are grown up to start following Jesus and making wise choices. The Bible says to start a youth out on his way, and even when he grows old he will not depart from it (Proverbs 22:6), so the habits, heart, and faith you build now become a foundation for your whole life. Like building a skateboard ramp the right way, what you build strong now will hold up later.
