Privacy Policy

Carpooling with Jesus is a family podcast for kids, run by Pastor Justin. This policy covers carpoolingwithjesus.com. You can reach us any time at carpoolingwithjesus@gmail.com.

• Newsletter and episode emails. Your email address (and your name if you give it) so we can send the monthly Carpool Unpacked newsletter or the episode list you asked for.
• Free stickers. A parent’s name and email plus a mailing address, used only to mail the stickers and reach you if there’s a delivery problem.
• Questions from your kid (typed or recorded). The kid’s first name and age, a parent’s name and email, and the question or voice recording. We use these to answer the question and, sometimes, to feature it on the show. Voice recordings are transcribed to text by a third-party service (OpenAI) so we can read them quickly.
• Coloring art. The kid’s first name and age, a parent’s email, and the photo you send, so Pastor Justin can write back.
• Prayer requests. A first name, a location, and the request. Once we’ve read and approved it, the first name, location, and request appear publicly on the prayer wall. Please don’t include anything you wouldn’t want shown.
• Contact messages. Your name, email, and message, so we can reply.
• Basic, anonymous site analytics. Standard page-view data to understand what’s helpful. It isn’t tied to your name.

Our forms are written for a grown-up to fill out. We do not knowingly collect information directly from children. When a child’s name, age, question, drawing, or voice comes to us, it is because a parent or guardian chose to send it. If you believe a child sent us something without a parent’s involvement, email us at carpoolingwithjesus@gmail.com and we will delete it.

Only for the reason you gave it to us: to mail your stickers, answer a question, run the prayer wall, or send the emails you signed up for. We may feature a submitted question, drawing, or prayer on the show or site. We do not use children’s information for advertising.

We do not sell, rent, or trade your information to anyone. The only companies that touch it are the trusted services that help us run the site: our database and hosting (Supabase, Vercel), our email delivery (Resend and Google/Gmail), and voice-to-text transcription (OpenAI). They handle it only to provide their service to us.

• Every newsletter and episode email has a one-click unsubscribe link.
• Email carpoolingwithjesus@gmail.com to see, correct, or delete anything we have about you or your child, including a prayer request or a recording. We’ll take care of it.

We keep information only as long as we need it for the reason you gave it, and we delete it sooner any time you ask. Voice recordings and photos are reviewed and then kept only if they’re used for the show, unless you tell us otherwise.

If we change how we handle your information, we’ll update this page and the date at the top. For anything you’re unsure about, just ask.
