Questions Kids Ask

What does wherever you go I will go mean in the Bible?

Those are Ruth's words to her mother-in-law Naomi after both women lost their husbands in Moab (Ruth 1:16-17). Ruth was promising far more than a move; she was choosing Naomi's people and Naomi's God for the rest of her life, even though it meant walking 80 miles to Bethlehem toward a future of poverty and risk. It is one of the boldest promises of loyalty in the whole Bible.
