When Life Feels Unfair: Joseph in Prison
Whether you’re heading to practice, sitting around the table, or getting ready for bed, I’m so glad you’re here.
For Parents
Joseph did the right thing and still ended up in prison after being lied about. Your kids will hear that unfair moments are real, and so is God's presence in them. Pastor Justin shares a story about a boy blamed for something he didn't do in gym class, and how the truth came out. Use the closing question to talk with your child about a time something felt unfair and how they handled it.
The One Thing for the Ride
“Even when you do the right thing and life still feels unfair, God never leaves you and is working in your story.”

Questions Kids Ask
Why was Joseph put in prison in the Bible?
Potiphar's wife lied about Joseph, and even though he had done the right thing, Potiphar believed her and had Joseph thrown into prison (Genesis 39:21). But the Lord was with him and showed him kindness, so the warden ended up putting him in charge of many things. Even when you do the right thing and life still feels unfair, God never leaves you.
