Whether you’re heading to school, off to practice, or just hanging out at home, I’m so glad you’re here.
For Parents
Joseph went from being his father's favorite to being thrown in a pit and sold by his own brothers. Your kids will hear that even on the worst day, God never forgets us. Pastor Justin shares a story about a boy left off a cast list who kept showing up and was later asked to step in. Use the closing question to talk with your child about a hard moment that later revealed God's plan.

Questions Kids Ask
Why did Joseph's brothers throw him into a pit?
Joseph's brothers were jealous because he was their father's favorite, so they stripped off his colorful robe and threw him into an empty cistern, then sold him as a slave headed to Egypt (Genesis 37:23-24). It was one of the worst days imaginable, yet God had not forgotten him. Even on the worst day, in the darkest pit, you are never truly alone because God is with you.
