If you have ever buckled a kid into a car seat while answering a question about heaven, lost a sock and your patience in the same five minutes, or wondered how to fit faith into a day that is already full, this site was built for you. Not for parents who have it all together. For the ones doing it on the move.
Here is everything waiting for your family, and how to actually use it.
Start with five minutes a day
The heart of it is a short daily episode of Carpooling with Jesus. About five minutes. One Bible verse, one real-life kid moment, one thing to remember, and a question you can talk about on the way to school. Press play in the car, at the kitchen table, or in the pickup line. That is the whole idea. Faith that fits the drive you are already making.
If you want the easiest link in the world to remember, carpoolingwithjesus.com/today always plays the newest episode. Bookmark it and you are set.
Five shows for the moments your family already has
There is more than one show, because your family has more than one kind of moment:
- Carpooling with Jesus for the morning drive.
- Goodnight Psalms for the wind-down before sleep, one calm Psalm at a time.
- Carpooling with Heroes of the Bible for the kid who loves a real story, told in short arcs.
- Questions from the Backseat for the questions your kids actually ask, answered honestly.
- What Should I Do If for the tricky situations kids face, walked through together.
You can find all five on the Podcasts page, with a simple side-by-side so you can pick where to start.
Whatever your kid is facing, there is probably an episode for it
This is the feature parents tell me they use most. Your kid is scared to try something new. A friendship went sideways. They told a lie and it got bigger. Go to the site, type in a word or two, and we will pull up the episodes that fit. You can also browse by topic, with everything sorted into things like courage, honesty, fear, and anger. When something comes up this week, you have a five-minute answer ready.
Every episode has a page made for parents
Click into any episode and you get more than audio. There is a short For Parents note from me explaining the why behind the day. A few key takeaways. A family question you can copy or text to yourself for the ride. The full transcript if you would rather read it. And on weekend episodes, a free coloring page that goes with the story.
Get your kids in on it
The Carpool Crew page is where your family stops being just listeners:
- Submit a question. Your kid can ask anything about God or the Bible. They can even record it in their own voice right on the site. Real kid questions become whole episodes of Questions from the Backseat, and I read every single one that comes in.
- The prayer wall. When something is heavy on your family's heart, you can post it, and pray for other families while you are there.
- Conversation starter cards. Pull one and you have something real to talk about on the drive.
- Coloring pages. Print them, color at the table, then snap a photo and send the finished art to me.
- Free stickers. We will mail a pack to your door, no charge.
- A shout-out. You can surprise your kid by name on a future episode.
A little something for the grown-ups
Faith does not stop at the kids. Once a month I send Carpool Unpacked, a short email for parents with episode previews, conversation starters, and a little of what I am reading and thinking about. One email a month, that is the whole deal. You can also read the For Parents notes on the site, and if you ever want to know who is doing all this talking, the Meet Justin page tells the story of how a tired dad ended up making a podcast for your carpool.
Want the whole thing? CWJ+
The weekday episodes are free, always. If your family wants more, Carpooling with Jesus+ opens up the weekend episodes and every bonus show, all in the same app you already listen on. It is a few dollars a month, and it keeps this whole thing rolling. You will find it at carpoolingwithjesus.com/cwj-plus.
A game made to be played, not to play your kid
We also made Road Trip: A Carpooling with Jesus Game. You drive the van, dodge the chaos, and every stop ends with a truth and a family question. It is a couple of dollars once, with no ads, no in-app purchases, and nothing built to keep your kid glued to the screen. A game you can put down. Find it on the App Store.
Listen wherever you already are, and bring a friend
You can follow all the shows on Apple Podcasts, Spotify, and YouTube, whichever you already use. And if an episode helps your family, the easiest way to help another tired parent is to share it with one of them, or leave a quick review so the next family can find us.
The short version
You do not have to do this perfectly. You do not have to carve out a quiet hour. You just have to press play on the drive you are already taking. Everything on this site is built around that one idea, that the ordinary moments of your family's day are exactly where faith can grow.
Come ride with us. We saved you a seat.
