Hi, and thanks for riding with us. Road Trip is made by a small family team, and we read every email. If something is not working, or you just have an idea, we would love to hear from you.

Playing the game
How do I unlock more trips?
Finish the trip you are on to unlock the next one. Beat all twelve trips to unlock Endless mode, which sits at the bottom of the trip list.
How do I change the difficulty?
On the trip map there is a difficulty chip near the top. Tap it to move between Easy, Medium, Hard, and Wild. Each driver remembers their own setting.
What is the Treasure Shelf?
Every trip hides one treasure. Grab the treasure on all twelve trips, and you unlock a secret ride. The Treasure Shelf on the menu shows which ones you have found.
How do my kids each get their own progress?
Tap the driver name at the top of the menu to add a driver for each kid. Everyone keeps their own stars, medals, difficulty, and ride.
Where did my stars go?
Stars are saved on the device for the driver who earned them, even if a trip ends in a crash. You never lose what you collected.
How do I turn the sound off?
Tap the speaker button in the top corner of the main menu to mute or unmute the game.
Safety and cost
Does it cost anything?
Road Trip is a one-time $1.99 purchase. There are no ads, no subscriptions, and no in-app purchases. Once you own it, the whole game is yours.
Is it safe to hand to my kid?
Yes. There are no ads, no surprise purchases, no chat, and no data collection of any kind. See our privacy policy for the details.
Does it need the internet?
No. The game works fully offline. The only button that opens the internet is the optional link to our podcast.
About the app
Does it work on iPad?
Road Trip is an iPhone app, and it also runs on iPad in iPhone mode.
Will there be more trips?
Yes, we plan to keep adding destinations. Want us to add your town, or a place your family loves to drive to? Email us and it might show up in the next update.
