Chase Wisdom, Not Just Popularity, at School
Whether you’re walking out the door with your water bottle or still wishing it was Saturday, I’m Pastor Justin—and I’m so glad you’re here.
For Parents
Your child is at an age where popularity can feel like the biggest prize at school. This episode unpacks Proverbs 4:7 and reframes the real goal: chasing wisdom and understanding over looking cool. At home, ask your child what's one thing they don't understand yet but want to learn this year. Pastor Justin reminds kids that wisdom grows with time and experience, that they're in the perfect spot to start now, and that even Jesus grew in wisdom and understanding as a boy. The takeaway is that being teachable for life beats being perfect.
The One Thing for the Ride
“Of everything kids could chase in life, wisdom and understanding are worth chasing most, and being teachable is how you start.”

Questions Kids Ask
What is the most important thing for kids to chase in life?
Of everything you could chase, the Bible says wisdom is supreme, so get wisdom, and whatever else you get, get understanding (Proverbs 4:7). You do not have to know everything yet, and being young just means you are in the perfect spot to start learning without doing it the hard way. Even Jesus grew in wisdom as a boy, so admit when you do not know something, ask questions, and choose to be a learner your whole life.
