God Will Teach You the Way

Hey, Carpool Crew! Happy Thursday. I'm Pastor Justin, and before we jump in, let me give a big shout-out to Liam and Ella from Metairie, Louisiana. So glad you are with us today. And this episode is for when you feel like you are supposed to figure everything out all by yourself. You know that feeling when you have a big choice to make, or a friendship gets complicated, and you think, I have no idea what I am doing? Yeah. Good news: you were never meant to figure it out alone. Let's jump in with the one thing I want you to remember for the ride: God promises to guide and teach you, so you are never learning all on your own. Listen to this from Psalm 32:8. God says, "I will instruct you and show you the way to go; with my eye on you, I will give counsel." Instruct, show the way, give counsel. That is a promise, not a maybe. God is not standing back watching you flail. He is right there, teaching. The person who wrote this had made some big messes and learned that God did not give up on him. Instead, God kept pointing him forward. Here is the part that lands. God's eye is on you. Not to catch you messing up, but the way a good coach watches, ready to help you get it right. If Jesus were sitting next to you right now, He would lean over and say, "You do not have to have it all figured out. Ask Me, and I will show you the next step. I am not going to leave you guessing." The fall sign-up sheet is on the wall, soccer, choir, robotics club, and you have no idea which line to put your name on. Instead of freezing up, you pause and pray one quick line, God, show me the next step. Then you write your name on the one that keeps tugging at you, and you trust Him with how it turns out. Hey, this week, try these two things. First, when a choice has you spinning, ask God to show you just the next step, not the whole map. Second, when you can see that step, take it. The next one usually shows up after you move. Hey, let's go back to that one thing I wanted you to remember for the ride. God promises to guide and teach you, so you are never learning all on your own. Remember, no matter where you are or how you're listening, God loves you.
