Questions Kids Ask

Do pets and animals go to heaven?

The honest answer is that the Bible does not clearly tell us, and that is okay. It does say people are special, made in the image of God to know him (Genesis 1:27), and that God made animals and saw they were good (Genesis 1:25). Jesus is preparing a place for those who belong to him (John 14:2), so we can make thoughtful guesses, love the animals God has given us, and trust him with the rest.
