Carpool Crew, welcome back. I'm Pastor Justin. Happy Monday. I hope you had a great weekend. Now, you know when somebody asks if you're okay, and you say, "Yeah," but it isn't true? And you said it fast so that they would move on. Well, I've done that once or twice, and I think there's something that I want you to remember for the ride. Tell one person the truth. Now, listen to this from Galatians chapter 6 verse 2, "Carry one another's burdens. This is the way you'll fulfill the law of Christ." So here's what's going on. Paul is writing to churches full of regular people just like us, who see each other every single week, and he tells them, "Carry one another's burdens." A burden is something heavy, too heavy to carry by yourself for very long, and it's not heavy like a rock, but it can feel like one. It's heavy like a secret, for example. Or someone said something mean to you, and you're carrying that with you, feeling like it might be true. Then Paul says something about Jesus. Doing this, carrying each other's burdens, is how you fulfill the law of Christ. That means carrying each other's heavy stuff is the Jesus way of living. It's how He loved people, and it's how He wants us to love each other. Now, here's the thing about a burden. No one can help you carry it if they don't know it exists. When you say, "I'm fine," they'll believe you. They just keep walking through life, not because they don't care. It's because they don't know. Now, I want to be honest. Sometimes telling the truth can feel scary. What if they laugh at what I say? What if they make it a big deal? See, those are all real things, but God made us to carry things together, and the only way that works is if we are honest with each other. Maybe it's a test that you are sure you're gonna fail. Maybe it's something going on at home that's just really stressful. Maybe it's a kid at school or a bad dream that keeps coming back, or it's just your next dentist appointment. You're pretty nervous about that. This week, I just want you to try something new. Pick one person that you can be honest with. Maybe it's a parent or a grandparent or a leader at church, a person who won't turn everything into a joke, and I want you to tell them the truth, the whole thing. How you're doing, how you're feeling, and what you're nervous about. You just have to let someone know what's going on, and they will help you. Hey, let's go back to the one thing I want you to remember for the ride. Tell one person the truth. Remember, no matter where you are or how you're listening, God loves you.
