Trusting God: Daniel in the Lion's Den
I’m Pastor Justin, and today, we’re diving into the incredible story of Daniel in the lion’s den!
For Parents
Kids know what it's like to be scared of doing the right thing when others are watching. This episode tells of Daniel in the lion's den to show that trusting God brings courage even in frightening moments. It shares the story of a boy who spoke up for a new friend who was being picked on, and saw other kids soften and apologize. At home, ask your child about a time they had to trust God when something felt scary.
The One Thing for the Ride

Questions Kids Ask
How did Daniel survive the lion's den?
Daniel kept praying to God even after jealous officials tricked the king into a law against it, so he was thrown into a den of lions, but God shut the lions' mouths and Daniel was lifted out without a wound because he had trusted in his God (Daniel 6:23). Trusting God gave Daniel courage to do what was right even when it was scary. God can give you that same courage.
