Standing Up for What's Right
Whether you’re on your way to school, finishing up breakfast, or taking a break from homeschooling, I’m so glad you’re here.
For Parents
Doing the right thing can feel lonely and scary for a child, especially under peer pressure. This episode uses Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego facing the fiery furnace to show that God walks with us when we stand firm. It tells the story of a boy who refused to sneak out of class with his friends and later saw why it mattered. At home, ask your child about a time they had to stand up for something and how it felt.
The One Thing for the Ride

Questions Kids Ask
What happened to Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego in the fiery furnace?
These three friends refused to bow to King Nebuchadnezzar's golden statue, saying the God they serve is able to deliver them, but even if he did not, they still would not bow (Daniel 3:17). Thrown into the blazing furnace, they were unharmed, and a fourth figure like an angel was seen with them in the fire. Jesus does not always remove hard things, but he always walks through them with us when we stand up for what's right.
