Hey, Carpool Crew! We made it! **Day thirty.** The final day of Proverbs for Your School Life. Thirty days. Thirty Proverbs. Thirty things to carry with you. And today we’re answering the question underneath this whole month: **Where does wisdom actually start?** I’m Pastor Justin, and first, our very last shout-out of the series goes to Ellie and AJ in Charlotte, North Carolina! Ellie and AJ are twins with two different birthdays, which is a fact I’m probably going to be thinking about all day. You got shout-out number thirty. That’s a big deal. Here’s the one thing I want you to remember: **Wisdom starts with knowing God.** Proverbs 9:10 says, “The fear of the Lord is the beginning of wisdom, and the knowledge of the Holy One is understanding.” Now, “fear of the Lord” doesn’t mean hiding from God because you’re scared of Him. It means recognizing who God is. He’s God. We’re not. He knows what’s true, what’s good, and where every road leads. **Wisdom starts when we trust that God knows better than we do.** Think about everything we’ve talked about this month. Guarding your heart. Telling the truth. Choosing your friends. Controlling your words. Standing up for somebody. Saying no when the crowd says yes. Keeping your promises. Those weren’t just thirty random life hacks. They came from a God who created you, loves you, and knows how life works. Jesus once finished a sermon by saying that the person who hears His words **and does them** is like someone who built a house on rock. That’s the difference. You can hear thirty Proverbs and forget all thirty. Or you can build with them. Because tomorrow, there won’t be a new Proverbs for Your School Life episode. But there will be a moment. At school. At practice. On the bus. At the lunch table. At home with your brother or sister. And you’re going to have a choice to make. When that moment comes, I want you to remember one question: **“What’s the wise thing here?”** Not, “What’s everybody else doing?” Not, “What can I get away with?” Not even, “What do I feel like doing?” **What’s the wise thing here?** Then trust God enough to do it. That’s your final One Thing: **Before you make a choice today, stop and ask, “What’s the wise thing here?” Then do it.** Thirty days of Proverbs can come down to that one question. Let’s go back one last time to the one thing I want you to remember: **Wisdom starts with knowing God.** Remember, no matter where you are or how you’re listening, God loves you.
