Hey, Carpool Crew! It’s day twenty-nine of Proverbs for Your School Life. One day from the finish line! And today we’re talking about a question you might have wondered but never actually said out loud: **If God is real... why does He sometimes feel so hard to find?** I’m Pastor Justin, and first, a big shout-out to Corah Faith and Maverick James in Augusta, Georgia! You guys are a full-time RV family, which means your house has wheels. Corah, you’re an artist who loves to read, and Maverick, you’re into dinosaurs, Legos, and catching lizards. Glad you’re both part of the Carpool Crew. Here’s the one thing I want you to remember: **God isn’t hiding. Go look.** Proverbs 8:17 says, “I love those who love me, and those who search for me find me.” In this chapter, Wisdom is speaking. And I love that picture: **Search. Find.** Wisdom is worth looking for. And Jesus taught something similar about seeking God. He said, “Ask, and it will be given to you. Seek, and you will find. Knock, and the door will be opened to you.” Ask. Seek. Knock. Those are action words. Following God isn’t just sitting around hoping you suddenly feel something. You can actually seek Him. And you don’t need fancy words or some giant spiritual moment to do it. Imagine tonight you’re lying in bed after the lights go out. Instead of just staring at the ceiling, try something. Two minutes. Just talk to God. **“God, I’m here.”** Then tell Him about your actual day. “The quiz went badly.” “Thanks for my friend sitting with me at lunch.” “I’m nervous about tomorrow.” “I got really mad at my brother.” “Help me.” That’s prayer. No fancy words required. And then start paying attention. Where did you see something good? Who showed you kindness? What are you thankful for? Where did you need help? Sometimes finding God doesn’t mean something huge happens. **Sometimes it means you finally start paying attention to the God who was already there.** So here’s your one thing for tonight: **Spend two minutes talking to God about your real day, using your real words.** And if you don’t know how to start, borrow these: **“God, I’m here.”** Let’s go back to the one thing I want you to remember: **God isn’t hiding.
