Integrity in the Small Things

Because integrity is so important, and Jesus talks about it all the time.

For Parents

This is part two of a short integrity series, and it zooms in on the small moments. Pastor Justin uses Luke 16:10 to show kids that owning up to a small mistake or keeping a small rule is practice for the bigger choices ahead. The examples are kid-sized: a knocked-over item at home, a friend's invitation that bends a parent's rule. On the drive, ask your child to name one small honest choice they can make today.

The One Thing for the Ride

Being faithful in the small everyday choices is how we grow into people who can be trusted with the big ones.

Questions Kids Ask

Why does being faithful in small things matter?

Jesus taught that whoever is faithful in very little is also faithful in much (Luke 16:10). Doing the right thing in small everyday moments, like owning up when you break something or checking with your parents before going into a friend's house, is how we grow into people who can be trusted with big things. Being faithful in the small choices is how we build a life of integrity.
