Stay Connected to Jesus Like a Power Source
Whether you’re riding to school, crunching cereal at the kitchen table, or hanging out in the backseat — I’m Pastor Justin, and I’m so glad you’re here.
For Parents
Continuing the vine and branches series, this episode uses John 15:4 and the picture of a dead phone battery. Pastor Justin explains that we can't grow love, joy, peace, or patience on our own, we have to stay plugged into Jesus. He offers everyday ways to stay connected: short prayers, a verse on a sticky note, humming a worship song. A simple, encouraging reminder that connection isn't just for Sundays but for every hallway and lunch break.
The One Thing for the Ride

Questions Kids Ask
What does it mean to stay connected to Jesus every day?
Just like a phone dies when it is not connected to its charger, our hearts run empty when we drift from Jesus. He said to remain in him, because a branch cannot produce fruit by itself unless it stays on the vine (John 15:4), so staying connected keeps your heart strong and full. You can plug in all day by talking to him with a quick prayer, remembering a short Bible verse, and thanking him, not just at bedtime but through every hallway and hangout.
